Me and hubby were watching news on tv and Mayweather was in the news about his up coming $20 million payday, awaits the undefeated WBC welterweight champion when he takes on Big Show as part of WWE's "WrestleMania XXIV" at Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla., on March 30.

Mayweather whipping out the thick cash of $100, $50 and $20 to the crowd. Whew! Wish im there in the crowd lol. Mayweather is amazing just cause his nickname is Money now he loves to trow money!! More on the news.

As i was browsing today in the news, i read that Jlo just give birth today in the morning in New York. She gave birth to a twin with girl and boy weigh 5-pound, 7-ounce and then 6 pound for her brother.

JLo is one of my favorite female singer. I hope that she will still continue and pursue her singiing career even shes already a mom and have a lovely kids.

How are you fellas. I woke up too early today cause me and my sis agreed to talk early but still waiting for her to get home. Anyways, when i woke up i checked my email as always and i found the email i subscribed from someone's blog to give me information about the nursing board exam for 2008. When i tried to search my family friend's name i cant find it and i told her sister if she pass she told me she got it. I search more and i found PRC's blog and i found her name. My source was not consistent. Anyways, to Cookie im so proud of you and you didnt turn down your parents especially your mama.

Kanye is a good rapper he made and composed songs that comes from his heart just like the songs he wrote for his mom. He loves his mom so much and he said its his best friend but unfortunately on his top of his career his mom died recently. Im so sad for Kanye i hope he finds peace on his heart right now and recover from what happened to his mom.

I like the songs he wrote for his mom called "Hey Mama". You can really tell that its real and the last time he sung the song live on Grammy last 2 weeks ago he almost cried when he sung the song.

Good morning everyone. How was your valentines? Im still sleepy right now but have to wake up to do some chores. But you know what? Last night me and hubby went out go to shopping mall before we decided to eat for valentine special. I spent lots of time looking for shoes for my dad and brothers but i cant find the right one for them. Its very late when decided to left the mall and find somewhere to eat. We keep thinking what place to eat and keep looking but all nice restaurants are full. I told to my hubby i think we'll end up eating burgers tonight and we both laughing. Until i remember we have a mexican food place near here at home and finally we ate. After that we decided to watch movies and im so happy that Spiderwick's Chronicles is on the theater already. We watched it and its a nice movie. Very fantastical and a little scary. Infact, there is one scene that made me scream lol. I swear hubby laughed out loud cause my screamed so loud. Lol. We went home like 11:00pm. Though its kinda late my valentine was still good.

Hi guys its a new blog i made. I decided to make a new blog today because its my day off and cant do anything. Anyways, its a Valentine's Day today and i want to greet everyone and i want to make a little research when and how valentine's day started.

VALENTINE'S DAY

Valentine or Valentinus, is the name of at least two celebrated saints. The most celebrated are the two martyrs whose festivals fall on February 14, the one, a Roman priest, the other, bishop of Terni. It would appear from the legends that both lived during the reign of the emperor Claudius (Gothicus); that both died on the same day; and that both were buried on the Via Flaminia, but at different distances from Rome. Many authorities believe that the lovers' festival associated with St. Valentine's day comes from the belief that this is the day in spring when birds begin their mating. There is another view held, however.

In the days of early Rome a great festival was held every February called "Lupercalia", held in honor of a god named Lupercus. During the founding days of Rome the city was surrounded by an immense wilderness in which were great hordes of wolves. The Romans thought they must have a god to watch over and protect the shepherds with their flocks, so they called this god Lupercus, from the Latin word, lupus, a wolf. One of the amusements on this festival day was the placing of young women's names in a box to be drawn out by the young men. Each young man accepted the girl whose name he drew, as his lady love.

This custom has changed throughout the years, during Christian times the priests put the names of saints and martyrs into the boxes to be drawn out. The name that was drawn out was called one's "valentine" and the holy life of that person was to be imitated throughout the year. It was at one time the custom in England for people to call out "Good morning, 'tis St. Valentine's Day", and the one who succeeded in saying this first expected a present from the one to whom it was said, making things pretty lively on St. Valentine's Day.

Paper valentines date back to the 1500's but it took the enterprise of America to make a buck at it. Esther A. Holland, who produced one of the first American commercial Valentines in the 1840's sold $5,000 worth - when $5,000 was a LOT of money - in the first year.
